Product details Full face mask for snorkeling Agama MARLIN L/XL - pink

The AGAMA full face mask is designed for snorkeling on the surface.
The AGAMA snorkeling mask offers panoramic vision and allows for both nose and mouth breathing. Explore the underwater world with this mask that allows you to breathe completely naturally.

This mask includes a GoPro mount and earplugs!

Product advantages:

  • The snorkeling mask allows natural breathing through the mouth and nose.
  • Exclusive airflow concept prevents fogging.
  • Wide-angle field of view with 180° effect.
  • The adjustable textile strap does not pull the hair.
  • The Dry system minimizes the ingress of water into the snorkel.
  • The drain valve in the lower part of the mask drains the water out when the head is raised.
  • Two sizes. The silicone cheekpiece provides comfort and is waterproof.

WHY IS THE AGAMA MASK NOT SUITABLE FOR SCUBA DIVING?

There is much more air in the mask than in a classic diving mask, so from a depth of 1 m the mask puts unpleasant pressure on the face. When diving, it is important to equalize the pressure, which is not possible with a mask.

WHICH SIZE OF AGAMA FULL FACE MASK SHOULD I CHOOSE?

The AGAMA mask is sold in two sizes. Size S/M is intended for children, juniors and women with smaller faces, and women with wider faces and men size L/XL.

How to measure correctly and thus choose the right size? We always measure from the bridge of the nose to the chin and it is measured as a straight line - straight (it does not copy the nose). Size S/M is for face 10-12 cm, size L/XL above 12 cm.

Are you looking for the same mask for your children? No problem, you can find it HERE .

CAN I USE THE AGAMA MASK EVEN IF I HAVE A BEARD?

For men, beards can be the cause of water entering the mask, so we recommend that you shave or choose a different model, as the silicone cheekpiece does not guarantee 100% adhesion to the face with a beard. However, we have tested that if the mask is pulled well even through the beard, it fits. However, it doesn't have to be the rule.

HOW DOES ANTI-FOG TECHNOLOGY WORK?

The mask works optimally in water at a temperature of 18 °C, in such a way that the air first flows to the lens before it is inhaled through the nose or mouth. The moister air that you exhale is removed through silicone and plastic, where fresh air also penetrates. Thus, a regular exchange of air takes place. Demisting a car windshield works on the same principle.

HOW DOES THE DRY TOP SYSTEM WORK TO PREVENT WATER FROM ENTERING THE SNORKEL?

It was developed so that water does not flow into the snorkel under any circumstances (in waves, when the head is tilted too much). There is a float in the mask, which floats up and closes the air hole when submerged. When surfacing, always exhale to release the float.

WHAT TO BE AWARE OF WHEN USING THE AGAMA MASK?

Watch out for sand! Do not place the AGAMA mask on sand, which can easily scratch the glass. If sand gets on the mask, do not try to force the snorkel to the mask. Rinse the mask and snorkel first. Similarly, sand can block a valve in a snorkel. In this case, rinse the snorkel thoroughly, use the wrench to release the buoy in the valve and rinse the entire snorkel again with water.
