The cylinder is one of the basic equipment for scuba diving. Aluminum diving bottles are among the most common "bottles" that divers take on their dives. Aluminum diving bottles are highly resistant to corrosion, even slightly more durable than steel bottles. They are therefore ideal for diving in the sea.
However, it is important to keep in mind that aluminum bottles and aluminum alloy bottles are slightly lighter than steel ones. Therefore, it is necessary to compensate for this buoyancy force before the dive and import about 2-3 kg more.
Each bottle is fitted on its neck with a high-pressure valve, which can be with one outlet (mono valve) or with two outlets (two valves). Bottoms of bottles are divided into 2 types. Concave and convex. In the case of the concave bottom of the bottle, the bottom is flat or sunk into the inner arc and there is no need for a so-called shoe. In the event of a convex bottom, when the bottom of the bottle is bulging out, it is necessary to purchase a rubber boot so that the bottle can stand on the ground. Some divers automatically fit all bottles with a shoe, which mainly protects its bottom against impacts and during transport, for example on a boat.
