It meets all requirements according to the EN250 standard even at a depth of 200 m at a tidal volume of 62.5 l / min converted to level consumption (ie 1,312.5 l / min at 200 m). The mixture used contained 6.7% oxygen, 83.3% helium and 10% nitrogen. This gas mixture has the same density at 200 m as air at 50 m.

• All Mares second stages are equipped with a unique patented VAD system. As air flows through the bypass into the mouthpiece, a vortex is created and a vacuum is created in its center. This causes the membrane to move during the inspiratory phase, which has the effect of improving the automatic response and facilitating breathing at any depth.
