Diving Diving cylinders
Diving cylinders
A pressure cylinder is one of the basic equipment for scuba diving. Aluminum diving cylinders are among the most common "bottles" that divers take on their dives. Aluminum diving cylinders are highly resistant to corrosion, even slightly more resistant than steel cylinders. They are therefore ideal for diving in the sea.
However, it is important to remember that aluminum and aluminum alloy cylinders are slightly lighter than steel cylinders. Therefore, it is necessary to compensate for this buoyancy force and weigh about 2-3 kg more before diving.
Each bottle is fitted with a high-pressure valve on its neck, which can be with one outlet (mono valve) or with two outlets (dual valve). The bottoms of diving bottles are divided into 2 types. Concave and convex. In the case of a concave bottom of the bottle, the bottom is flat or sunken into an inner arch and a so-called shoe is not necessary. In the case of a convex bottom, when the bottom of the bottle is convex outwards, it is necessary to purchase a rubber shoe so that the bottle can stand on the ground. Some divers automatically fit all bottles with a shoe, which primarily protects its bottom against impacts and during transport, for example, on a boat.
In addition to aluminum diving tanks, we offer steel diving tanks. You can find a wide range of steel tanks in various sizes and designs. We offer aluminum tanks in sizes S40 and S80.
For diving cylinders, we also provide air filling and regular inspections, including sandblasting.
